A r t i s t ' s S t a t e m e n t I find myself more and more fascinated by what is possible in digital imagemaking. When I was working in collage on paper there were always moments when I wished a collage piece was larger or a slightly different shape or colour... on the computer I just make it happen. I've been working predominantly in a diptych format. I find when I put images together that the juxtaposition can create images that, when they work, are more than the sum of their parts. |

B i o "One's condition is the truest subject of one's art" -Kitaj After jumping through some hoops, and painstakingly avoiding others, I have finally begun making art that really matters to me. I live in Sechelt, a small community on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast, with my wife and two sons. The relative quiet of my life here allows me the concentration I need to make art. |
